Learn through play.
Be inspired.
We use children’s individual interests and play based activities to motivate their learning. Our Language of Children™ curriculum adopts an emergent and creative approach, which encourages children to plan, initiate projects and reflect on their own learning. Children are seen as being confident, capable and creative as they learn valuable skills; critical for lifelong success in learning and living.
Nursery to Upper Kindergarten English Class
Age
Description

This is a mixed age class focused on the development of three and four year olds, with a low ratio of 9 children to one teacher.

Early years specialists provide the provocations to inspire children’s learning and plan developmentally appropriate educational pathways; ensuring every child reaches their fullest potential and is equipped with the transferable skills to succeed in their next steps. Sessions incorporate time for class and individual planning, group exercise, self-reflection, project work, child-initiated play, snack, 1:1 reading, focused group work, music, singing, dancing, drama, role play, storytelling, games, gym, cooking, sensory exploration, art and crafts. Independence, problem solving and creative thinking is encouraged to stimulate our children each day with new challenges and a desire to learn in an environment they shape themselves.

Teachers scaffold the children’s learning, ensuring no child is left behind and are conscious that every child learns in different ways. Learning outcomes are closely linked with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

In addition, our Mandarin session during classes will introduce Chinese language alongside cultural understanding through games and activities. The children have weekly sessions with specialised arts teachers in our Art studios - contributing to reinforce their appreciation for global artists, forms and project based learning.
